Enrique Gil is a very famous Filipino actor and dancer best known for his role in television shows ‘Budoy’ as Benjamin ‘BJ’ Maniego, ‘Princess and I’ as Dasho Jan Alfonso ‘Jao’ Rinpoche and as Alexander ‘Xander’ Grande III in Forevermore. Enrique Gil was born on 30 March 1992 in Cebu, Philippines.his birth name is Enrique Mari Bacay Gil. Bambi Gil And Enrique Gil Sr. are his parents. Enrique's father is Spanish and his mother is of Filipino, German and Spanish descent who both works as flight attendants at the Philippine Airlines.Enrique has an elder brother Enrique Javier IV and a younger sister Diandra Frances. About Enrique's Career

Gil initiated his career in 2008 being enrolled in commercial modeling and musical theater workshop conducted by Trumpets a well-known dance group in the Philippines. Enrique was launched as a part of ABS-CBN’s Star Magic Circle Batch 16. Later on, he was landed with the role of Harold to play in action-drama series Pieta. Enrique earned the title name of Dougie King after he danced for the hit song, Teach me how to Dougie. Enrique made his television series debut in 2008 from the movie ‘I Love Betty La Fea’ where he played the role of eco model and later on in 2010, he started working in short movie ‘Diego and His Brothers’ playing the character as Anton. Besides acting, Gil is also a singer. He had launched many album and hit singles winning many awards for himself. Till now he has been nominated for many awards and has successfully won numerous awards like 5th Star Magic Ball Breakout-Style, Yahoo OMG Awards in Most Promising Actor, Candy Reader’s Choice awards in Best Actor and much more.
